Location: Victorville, CA
Reports To: Director of Domestic Viloence
Position Type: Full-Time
Good faith start rate: $20 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Case Manager to support survivors of domestic violence participating in our Housing Programs throughout San Bernardino County. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals and families achieve safety, stability, and self-sufficiency through personalized case management, advocacy, and community referrals.

The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, resourceful, and committed to empowering survivors while working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

This is a full-time position. Hours may fluctuate based on participant needs, and some evenings and weekends may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services

  • Conduct initial consultations and evaluations with survivors of domestic violence

  • Provide ongoing weekly or monthly case management services

  • Respond to emergency needs of participants (on-call as required)

  • Identify client needs and provide appropriate referrals to community resources

  • Assist families with stabilization and support family reunification when appropriate

  • Develop individualized service plans and meet participants where they are

  • Create basic move-in budgets with participants

  • Assist clients with completing restraining orders as needed

  • Provide transportation to appointments when necessary

Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Enter client data into the management system accurately and promptly

  • Complete weekly and monthly program reports

  • Maintain organized and confidential client records

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of the 40-hour State Mandated Domestic Violence Advocate Training

  • Understanding of domestic violence dynamics (preferred)

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices

  • Familiarity with local community resources

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence (preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365)

  • Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to pass a background check
